  • Nairobi: 
    • The Nairobi Integrated Urban Development Master Plan created public spaces for wealth generation by reclaiming, restoring, and rehabilitating public spaces across the city with community inclusion in the governace and management of the spaces. 
  • Durban:
    • Pedestrianization of the city with spatial legacy projects like Rivertown, Pocket Parks, and Pixley ka Seme Walk left the city witha sense of ownership by its participatory process.
  • Blantrye to develop pubilc spaces through an assessment tool that offers solutions. opportunities, and short-term interventions that align with the SDGs
