Webinar: Towards HLPF 2020 – Local and regional governments in the SDG reporting process

Organized by United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and its Capacity and Institution Building (CIB) working group, this webinar held on 16.04.2020 focuses on the role of local and regional governments (LRGs) and their associations in the SDG reporting process.

Concretely, this webinar:

  • Introduces the SDG monitoring and reporting process.
  • Demonstrates concrete steps on how LRGs and their associations can take part in the reporting process at the national and international levels.
  • Shares the ongoing experience of LRG Associations working with UCLG to ensure LRGs voices are included in their country’s Volunteer National Review (VNR).
